Magnet Foundation News: Winter 2019

Thanks to your donations, the following grants were approved at the winter meeting of the Foundation's Board of Directors:

• • Replacement IR Spectrophotometer: $14,400

  • Middle School Math Competition: $3,200

  • BlairHacks (@blair_hacks) Hackathons: $2,500

  • Magnet teachers attend SIGCSE Conference: $1,200

  • Robotics Team 3-D Printer: $1,000

  • Robotics Team BunnyBots (@FRCteam449): $1,000

Other Foundation activities:

• • 30 students (now in 4th grade) re-enrolled in math classes through the Pipeline Project this year.

• The 2019 Distinguished Alumni Award was presented to Ani Manichaikul, Class of '99.
