Max Gibiansky '04 is the first named author of an article published on October 8 in Science. His team discovered bacteria with leg-like projections used to move around surfaces.
Craig Rice '90 was elected to the Montgomery County Council in the November elections.
Judy (Grunberger) Arnold '93 appeared on Jeopardy! on December 14th. She told Alex Trebek that she was the inspiration for this Dilbert cartoon.
Tyrone Giordano '94 was a member of the cast of The Next Three Days starring Russell Crowe.

Bola King-Rushing '90 is an Instructional Technologist at Oxnard College and a graduate student at UC-Santa Barbara. Earlier this year, he published Elucidating Injustice: The Crisis of Identity in Minority-Produced Science Fiction.
Sarah Manchester '90 is a math teacher in the Magnet Program at Takoma Park Middle School and coach of the school team that has now won the Maryland state Mathcounts competition for 25 straight years.
