Magnet News: Summer 2026

Magnet students won several recent awards and competitions in 2026:

• Magnet students finished 1st (Thomas Yao '27), 2nd (Chaewoon Kyoung '26), and 3rd (Lewis Lau '26) in the University of Maryland Math Competition (pdf)

• Blair's team won the 2026 Maryland Science Bowl (pdf)

• Blair's Robotics Team won the Chesapeake District Championship and at the FIRST World Championship, they finished with an 11-4 record and advanced to the semifinal round of their division for the best-ever finish in Team 449's history. (MoCoShow)
