The Magnet Foundation's Board of Directors recently approved several grant requests:
$2,500 to purchase a CNC router for the Robotics Team
$2,500 to cover the printing costs for Silver Quest
$360 to register teams for Science Olympiad
Additional Magnet Foundation business:
Bylaw changes were approved regarding the addition and resignation of Board members; a process for approving grant applications by e-mail was formalized.
The Board is considering finalists for the 2018 Distinguished Alumni Award.
The Magnet Pipeline Project has enrolled 39 Montgomery County third graders in math classes at the AoPS Academy.
