The Magnet Foundation has selected finalists for the 2017 Distinguished Alumni Award, and the winner will be chosen soon. This award will be presented at the Magnet Research Convention at Blair on January 12, 2017.
The Magnet Foundation Board approved several grants at its fall meeting:
$270 to cover Ms. Hart's attendance at the Biennial Conference on Chemical Education
$440 to purchase arduino starter kits for Computer Science Day
$300 for supplies and materials for the Science Olympiad team
Up to $1,200 to purchase a new Band Saw for the R&E lab
Up to $5,000 to purchase a new Spectrophotometer for Chemistry (previously approved)
Up to $625 to cover Mr. Kaluta's attendance at a Materials Science Workshop at Georgia Tech
The Foundation needs more donations to cover the cost of these grants. Please donate today!
