Magnet Foundation News: Fall 2011

With the start of a new school year, the Foundation is working with teachers and administrators to assess the Magnet's needs.

• • The Foundation has provided over $2000 to help buy chemistry equipment for Ms. Dieckman's new organic chemistry class.

  • Members of the Foundation Board met with Blair's new principal, Renay Johnson, in September.

  • The Foundation Board held its quarterly meeting on October 9, 2011. The next meeting will be in January.

  • Mr. Ostrander and members of the Foundation Board met with 9th grade Magnet parents on October 27th.

Computer Science teacher Lola Piper has joined the Board of Directors for the Magnet Foundation.
