Also, one Magnet junior earned honors on the baseball field last spring:

    • During the Spring 2010 baseball season, Lucas Babinec '11, surpassed two 30-year old Blair High School records: best batting average for a season (.516) and most hits in a season (32). The previous records were set in 1980 by current Blair head baseball coach and PE teacher, John MacDonald. He was recognized by the Gazette as an Honorable Mention for the All-Gazette Baseball Team.
