• • It's Academic: Senior Sambuddha Chattopadhyay, Junior Ben Miller, and Sophomore Anson Berns won the It's Academic 2017 Superbowl, defeating Blake and Langley in the DC finals, and defeating Centennial and Kettle Run in the Super Bowl finals!   • ISEF: At the 2017 International Science & Engineering Fair, Senior Sambuddha Chattopadhyay won a $1,000 third place ISEF award in Physics and Astronomy; Sophomore Naveen Durvasula won a $500 AVASC Award. (@MsBosseBlair)

  • National Merit Scholars: Seniors Amy Borton and Sandeep David won National Merit Scholarships.

  • Science Ambassador: Senior Anna Barth won the Science Ambassador Scholarship, a full-ride college scholarship sponsored by Cards Against Humanity.

  • NCWIT Aspirations: Magnet students Annie, Grace, Juliana, Nobline, and Wendy won Aspirations in Computing Student Awards from the National Center for Women & Information Technology. (@MsBosseBlair)

  • CCMC Research Contest: Freshman Shreeya Khurana won a first place award in the NASA Goddard CCMC/NSF Student Research Contest. She was invited to present her project at the Geospace Environment Modeling (GEM) summer workshop in June.

  • Robotics Team: Team 449 reached the quarterfinals of their division at the FIRST Robotics World Championships.
