As the Class of 2017 heads off to college, the Magnet Foundation asked the Class of 2007 for updates ten years after they left Blair.

Updates from the Class of 2007 a decade after their graduation:
Diego Ardila is working at Google Brain on deep learning applied to medicine. He is also recording albums with his band Congratulatinos.
Lois Bangiolo graduated from Columbia College of Physicians and Surgeons in 2016 and is currently a pediatric resident at Inova Children's Hospital in Falls Church, Va.
Tony Burnetti earned his PhD in Genetics at Duke, and he is starting a postdoc at Georgia Tech this fall.
Jessica Cutler graduated from medical school from the University of Pittsburgh and is a surgery resident in New Jersey. Two years ago, she married alumnus Mark Harding!
Merlyn Deng is a Product Manager at Facebook working in the applied machine learning group (TechCrunch).
Alice Fan worked 5 years in healthcare product management, and is now in Chicago getting her MBA from Northwestern's Kellogg School of Management.
Samarth Gola is a Radiology Resident at Virginia Commonwealth University Health.
David Gootenberg is an MD/PhD Student at Harvard Medical School, and he was recently engaged!
Jeff Guo (@_jeffguo) is a writer at Vox.com, where he reports on media, politics, and data.
Mark Harding graduated from medical school from the University of Pittsburgh and is in his last year of family medicine residency in New Jersey. Two years ago, he married alumna Jessica Cutler!
Timothy He is a Sr. Analyst at The Walt Disney Company in South Bay San Francisco.
Eric Hysen recently wrapped up two and a half years in the Obama administration as a co-founder of the U.S. Digital Service, leading tech projects at the Department of Homeland Security.
Ashley Lau finished her MPA at the London School of Economics and Political Science, and she is planning to return to Washington, D.C. to work as a policy advisor for the U.S. Department of the Treasury through the Presidential Management Fellows program.
Christie Lin is a PhD Candidate in Medical Physics at University of Wisconsin-Madison, and she's the President of the MIT Club of Wisconsin.
Patrick McQuighan is living in Seattle, working at an AI startup, Algorithmia.
Ethan Schaler is wrapping up a Ph.D. at UC-Berkeley after completing a B.S. at the University of Maryland and M.Phil. at the University of Cambridge - his research is in various engineering disciplines related to robotics.
Michael Stamm recently graduated from Georgetown University's Law School, and he is moving to Colorado in the fall.
Ben Strauss is living in Bethesda and working as a software engineer for Amazon - he moved back to the DC area and got married in 2015 after spending several years in the Seattle area.
Rebecca Vogel is a Stanford Law School Civitas Fellow working in Washington, DC at the Public Defender Service.
Nick Wolf is living in San Francisco where he works for Earthjustice.
Jordy Wolfand (@jordy_theshorty) is a graduate student at Stanford University, pursuing a PhD in environmental and civil engineering.
Vicky Yao is a graduate student in Computational Biology at Princeton University.
