The Foundation is filing its taxes for the year, and over $10,000 was received in private donations in 2010.
The Foundation approved two grant applications in the spring:
$3500 to pay for the ACSL All-Star Team and chaperones to travel to Connecticut
$3000 to help the Montgomery County ARML Team travel to Penn State
The Foundation is also working to raise money to fund a new research computer lab. If you have any ideas for potential donors, please contact the Foundation Board: board@mbhsmagnet.org
Susan Ragan is moving to North Carolina to be closer to her grandchildren, and she is resigning from her position as Secretary on the Magnet Foundation Board of Directors.
