At the summer meeting of the Magnet Foundation Board, the Board re-elected the following officers:
President: Zeki Mokharzada, Class of '96 and Magnet parent
Vice-President: Eileen Steinkraus, former Magnet teacher and Magnet coordinator
Secretary: Ted Jou, Class of '99
Treasurer: Sharon Goodall, Magnet parent
The Magnet Foundation recently paid out several grants:
Science Olympiad: $870
Silver Quest: $3,000
Silver Quill: $800
Quiz Bowl: $2,700 (NAQT National Championship)
Blair green space: $730
Chemistry sensors: $2,200
Physics photoelectic equipment: $290
Robotics class contest entry/materials: $1,500 (IEEE Robot Challenge)
Math team: $5,300 (ARML 2024)
