Magnet Foundation News: Fall 2022

On August 27, 2022, the Foundation hosted a Magnet Reunion Picnic for alumni, parents, students, and teachers

The Magnet Foundation Board approved several grants for the fall semester:

  • MathWorks Math Modeling Competition ($100/team)

  • Chemistry lab equipment ($1,700)

  • Bunny Bots competition Dec. 10th @ Blair ($2,400)

  • Science Olympiad team ($500)

  • Biology Lego models ($570)

  • Forensics model school ($325)

  • Biology lab ice maker ($120)

Board membership changes:

  • Pat Yongpradit '96 was elected to the Board

  • Beth Kaufman resigned from her position as general counsel
