One magnet alumnus is running for office in Montgomery County this fall:
Craig Rice '90 won the Democratic primary election for Montgomery County Council District 2 and will be on the ballot this November.
Other alumni updates:
Jessica Yen '05 finished her Fulbright English Teaching Assistantship (ETA) in Taiwan, and she is returning to her alma mater, Vanderbilt University, to pursue a M.Ed. in Teaching and Learning.
Julia Simon-Mishel '05 is a law student at the University of Pennsylvania Law School.
Samir Paul '06 is a Teach for America Corps member in the DC Public Schools.
Nathan Blustein '06 is a music graduate student at the University of Indiana, where he is also an associate instructor and an accompanist.
John Silberholz '06 won the 2010 INFORMS Undergraduate Operations Research Prize.
Matt McCutchen '07 was a 2010 Awardee of the CRA Outstanding UG Researcher Award.
