Jacob Lurie '96 was named a
2014 MacArthur "genius grant" Fellow
. After the award was announced, he was interviewed by the
Harvard Gazette

Sarah Manchester '90 won a
$1 million prize on Wheel of Fortune
! After winning the prize, she appeared on
Good Morning America
. Sarah is a math teacher at Takoma Park Middle School, and the
Washington Post
interviewed her
and some of her students when she returned to school the next week. She later gave an in-depth interview for
Silver Chips
.
