Jessica Yen Teaching in Taiwan with Fulbright Grant

After completing a B.S. at Vanderbilt University in Biological Sciences and Secondary Education in 2009, Jessica Yen was awarded a Fulbright English Teaching Assistantship (ETA) to Taiwan grant for the 2009-2010 year. In the Fall, she will be returning to Vanderbilt University to pursue a M.Ed. in Teaching and Learning.

Lydia Beasley earns Masters and will work in San Francisco

Lydia Beasley will graduate from Washington University in St. Louis with three degrees: a BS in Biomedical Engineering, a BS in Chemical Engineering, and a MS degree in Biomedical Engineering. Last summer, Lydia interned at Genentech Corp. in San Francisco and was hired to start full-time with Genentech in August 2010. Lydia plans to pursue a PhD in Biomedical Engineering.

Kevin Kahn pursuing PhD at JHU

Kevin Kahn graduated from University of Maryland - College Park in Spring 2009 with a dual degree in Electrical Engineering and Biology. He is currently pursuing a PhD in Biomedical Engineering at Johns Hopkins University.

Michael Forbes staying at MIT for PhD

Michael Forbes '05 graduated from MIT with a BS in Mathematics.  He will be staying at MIT for a PhD in theoretical computer science.

Vivek Chellapa graduated from Brown; applying to Medical School

Vivek Chellapa '05 graduated Magna Cum Laude at Brown with a BSc in Neuroscience (Honors). He is now taking a year off before I apply to medical school, working either at NIH or at a doctor's office.

Alexander May studying robotics at CMU

Alexander May '05 is currently a senior at Carnegie Mellon University, studying Mechanical Engineering with a minor in Biomedical Engineering.  He has been accepted to CMU's fifth year robotics masters program and is waiting to hear back from graduate programs in mechanical Engineering and Robotics.
